"...throught the observation of his works one seems to perceive life and passion, pain and conflict, under the hot and vibrant surface of terracotta. The matter possesses an internal autonomous energy, which is arcaic and primordial, an istinctive pulsation making one think and perceive his/her interior and unconscious world. In the presence of these big male and female figures it is unavoidable to feel and project our own members of the body. It is a moment of reflection on the significance of the individual inside a society, and in a wider sense, inside the world. This moment is often lived as an overwhelming reality, but also the space for great possibilities of birth-growth-rebirth."
